Strawberries Description:

We may think they are sweet because they taste sweet, but a good portion of that “sweet” perception actually comes from the aroma and flavour! The freshest and tastiest strawberries are a fragrant bouquet of esters, with flavour notes ranging from pineapple to tree fruit such as apple and pear. Strawberries are actually a group of fruits (genus Fragaria) containing several varieties and are part of the rose family. The typically red fruit has an early summer harvest, with the actual growing season depending on the variety and location. The strawberry, as we know it, was originally grown in northern Europe, but species are also found in Russia, Chile, and the United States. The berries seem to be strewn among the leaves of the plant. The plant first had the name strawberry, which later was changed to strawberry.
