1 small handful of fresh mint leaves πΏ

2 cups hot water

Lightly crush the mint leaves to release their oils.

Add to a teapot or mug and pour over hot (but not boiling) water.

Steep for 5β10 minutes, then strain and serve.

π Ingredients (Makes 1 glass):

1 tbsp lime juice (about 1/2 a lime) π

2 tsp sugar (or simple syrup)

50ml white rum (omit for mocktail)

Sparkling soda water or tonic

Ice cubes π§

Extra leaves & lime slices to garnish

In a sturdy glass, muddle mint leaves with lime juice and sugar until fragrant.

Fill the glass with ice and pour over the rum (or leave it out for a mocktail).

Top up with soda water and stir gently.
