๐ Ingredients

๐ฅฌ 1 bunch Cavolo Nero (stems removed, chopped)

๐ 250g pasta (penne or spaghetti works well)

๐ง 2โ3 garlic cloves, minced

๐ซ 2 tbsp olive oil
-
๐ง 50g grated Parmesan (optional)

๐ฅ 100ml cream (optional for a creamy version)

๐ Squeeze of lemon juice

๐ง Salt & black pepper to taste

๐ถ๏ธ Pinch of chilli flakes (optional)
๐ฉโ๐ณ Method
1๏ธโฃ Bring a large pan of salted water to the boil and cook pasta according to packet instructions.
2๏ธโฃ While pasta cooks, heat olive oil in a large pan over medium heat.
3๏ธโฃ Add garlic (and chilli flakes if using) and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.
4๏ธโฃ Add chopped Cavolo Nero and sautรฉ for 4โ5 minutes until tender.
5๏ธโฃ Drain pasta (reserve a splash of pasta water) and add to the pan.
6๏ธโฃ Stir through cream (if using), a little pasta water, lemon juice and Parmesan.
7๏ธโฃ Season with salt and pepper, toss well and serve immediately.
