Ingredients:
- 300g tenderstem broccoli
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 garlic cloves, thinly sliced
- Zest and juice of 1 lemon
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Red pepper flakes (optional)
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions:
- Bring a pot of salted water to a boil and blanch the tenderstem broccoli for 2-3 minutes, until tender but still crisp.
- Drain and set aside.
- In a large pan, heat olive oil over medium heat and sauté garlic slices until golden and fragrant.
- Add the blanched broccoli and toss to coat.
- Season with salt, pepper, lemon zest, and juice. Optionally, add red pepper flakes for some heat.
- Sauté for another 2-3 minutes, stirring occasionally.
