π§πΆπ₯ Garlic Confit (Soft, Spreadable & Infused in Olive Oil)

2β3 whole heads of Spanish garlic, peeled π§

1β1Β½ cups extra virgin olive oil π« (enough to fully submerge cloves)

Optional: sprigs of thyme, rosemary, or a few peppercorns πΏ

Peel all garlic cloves and place them in a small saucepan.

Cover with olive oil and add any herbs or spices you like.

Cook over very low heat (barely a simmer) for 30β40 minutes, until cloves are soft, golden, and tender.
