Ingredients – Serves 2
- 2 cups fresh cherries, pitted and halved 🍒
- 1 tbsp honey, maple syrup or sugar 🍯
- ½ tsp vanilla extract
- ½ tsp lemon zest – optional 🍋
- ½ cup rolled oats
- ¼ cup plain flour
- 2 tbsp cold butter
- 1 tbsp brown sugar
- Pinch of cinnamon
Method
- Preheat the oven to 180°C / 160°C fan.
- Divide the prepared cherries between two ramekins.
- Add the sweetener, vanilla and lemon zest.
- Rub the butter into the flour, oats, sugar and cinnamon until crumbly.
- Sprinkle over the cherries.
- Bake for approximately 20–25 minutes until golden and bubbling.
- Serve warm.

Method
