🍑 Fresh Victoria Plums – Sweet, Juicy & Traditionally British

Our Fresh English Victoria Plums are a true taste of the British summer, loved for their juicy flesh, beautiful colour and naturally sweet flavour with a gentle tang.

When perfectly ripe, Victoria plums develop tender golden-yellow flesh with a wonderfully succulent texture. They’re delicious eaten straight from the fruit bowl but are equally at home in traditional crumbles, cakes, jams and chutneys.

Their balance of sweetness and acidity also makes them fantastic alongside yoghurt, cheese, nuts and warming spices.

Sweet. Juicy. Seasonal. A proper British fruit favourite. 🍑✨

🔪 Preparing Fresh English Victoria Plums

Victoria plums require very little preparation.

  1. Wash gently under cold running water.
  2. Pat dry.
  3. Slice around the natural seam of the fruit.
  4. Twist the two halves apart.
  5. Remove the stone.
  6. Eat fresh or slice according to your recipe.

🍑 Fruit Bowl Tip

If your Victoria plums are still fairly firm, allow them a little time to ripen at room temperature.

As they ripen, they’ll generally become softer, sweeter and juicier.

Once ripe, handle them carefully because soft plums can bruise quite easily.
