🔪 Preparing Fresh Crisp Granny Smith Apples

Granny Smith Apples require very little preparation.

  1. Wash thoroughly under cool running water.
  2. Dry before cutting.
  3. Eat whole or slice into wedges.
  4. Remove the core and seeds when preparing recipes.
  5. Leave the skin on if preferred for extra texture and fibre.

🍋 Fruit Bowl Tip

Cut apple flesh naturally begins to brown when exposed to air.

If you’re preparing slices in advance for a lunchbox, salad or fruit platter, toss them with a little fresh lemon juice to help slow the browning.
