Start by washing it thoroughly under cold water. If you prefer, you can peel the skin using a knife or vegetable peeler, but it’s optional since the skin is edible. Cut the peach in half and remove the pit. You can then slice or chop the peach as desired. Enjoy it fresh, or use it in recipes like smoothies or desserts.

Recipe for Grilled Peach with Honey and Cinnamon

Ingredients:

  • 4 ripe peach, halved and pitted
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil or melted butter
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • A pinch of salt
  • Fresh mint leaves for garnish (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the grill to medium heat.
  2. Brush the peach halves with olive oil or melted butter.
  3. Place  side down on the grill and cook for about 3-4 minutes, until grill marks appear and the peach start to soften.
  4. Flip the peaches over and drizzle with honey, cinnamon, and a pinch of salt. Grill for another 2-3 minutes.
